BPRB Bengal Police SI recruitment 2019: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has released the official notification regarding the recruitment process for the post of sub-inspector (SI) in West Bengal Police on its official website i.e. policewb.gov.in. The application process has begun from 9August and will be closed at 5 pm on September 9, 2019. As per the official notification, there are a total of 668 vacancies.

WBPRB Bengal Police SI recruitment 2019: Eligibility-Candidate must have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum age: 20 years
- Maximum age: 27 years
An application fee of Rs 270 will be applicable. The Sc and ST category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee, however, a processing fee of Rs 20 will be applicable.Selected candidates will get a salary in the pay scale of Rs 7,100 to Rs 37,600. Additional grade pay of Rs 3,900 and allowances will also be paid extra.
The selection will be done on the basis of Preliminary Examination which will act as screening examination followed by the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Combined Competitive Examination and Personality Test.All provisionally selected candidates shall be required to appear for Medical Examination at the State Government designated hospitals.
