Vocational skills along with study. Vocational Higher Secondary in the state is Introducing a job oreinted programme

Vocational Higher Seconadry in the state implenmenting the concept of education with importance of job expertising . And the courses has been framed as per the instructions by National skills qualification framework (NSQF). The courses they were offerd on a trial basis at selected VHSE Schools in the acadamic year of 2018-19 are going to extended to all schools across the state .
In the first phase of trial 66 vocational higher secondary schools been included in the NCQF in the sate said Ashok Kumar , a teacher at the Siva vilasam higher secondary school Thamarakudy.
The NCQF is a competancy based education system that merges all qualifications according to a series levels of knowledge, skills, and aptitude . outcome the students must possess a technical plus formal and informal education
The VHSE Covering a total of 12 courses which includes nine industrial and service sectors including agriculture , retail,, travel and toursm , power ,telecom, IT ,electronics and hardware , health care beauty and wellness
After completing the course,students can be pursued high-level certifications in the same sectors.Simoultanously, the students can opt for graduation courses, including professional courses. The VHSE has four groups of maths, science, commerce and arts. Each of the group will have five subjects and one skill development, and on-the-job training
Deadline till August 14
You can start applying for the VHSE courses. The last date for submitting applications is August 14. One student can pick only one skill for a particular group. For details, check check
