UPSC Recruitment 2019: Apply for 67 Specialist and other posts

UPSC recruitment 2019: The Union Public Service Commission is going to conduct recruitment under Department of Health & Family Welfare and Ministry of Home Affairs are requested to fill the Company Prosecutor, Prosecutor, Junior Scientific Officer, Director, Specialist Grade III post . In UPSC Bharti 2019 there are total 67 vacanciesavailable for these posts. Eligible and Interested candidates may submit their online application form using www.upsc.gov.in online application link.The online application process has started, and the candidates can apply online through the website- upsc.gov.in till November 14, 2019.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification & Age limit

  • Company Prosecutor: Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institution. Knowledge of Commercial Law. Experience of conducting Company Law cases. Government diploma in Company Secretaries. Age Limit: maximum 30 years.
  • Prosecutor: Graduate in any discipline plus bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized University or Institute OR Integrated graduate in Law (Five years duration) from a recognized University or Institute. Age Limit: maximum 30 years.
  • Junior Scientific Officer (Toxicology): PG Degree with Master’s in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Pharmacology/Pharmacy/Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized university or equivalent*. Age Limit: maximum 30 years.
  • Director (Staff Training/Productivity): (i) Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Production/Industrial Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent OR (ii) Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical or Production or Industrial Engineering followed by Post-graduate Diploma in Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering of a recognized institute/University. Age Limit: maximum 50 years.
  • Specialist Grade III (Dermatology): Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.D. (Dermatology)/ M.D. (Dermatology & Venereology)/M.D. in Medicine with Diploma in Dermatology/ Diploma in Dermatology. Age Limit: maximum 45 years.
  • Specialist Grade III (Obstetrics and Gynaecology): Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M. D. (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)/M.S. (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)/Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Age Limit: maximum 45 years.
  • Specialist Grade III (Ophthalmology): Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.D. (Ophthalmology)/ M.S. (Ophthalmology)/ Diploma in Ophthalmology/ Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery. Age Limit: maximum 50 years.
  • Specialist Grade III (Orthopaedics): Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned speciality mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.S. (Orthopaedics)/ Diploma in Orthopaedics. Age Limit: maximum 45 years.
  • Specialist Grade III (Paediatrics): Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M. D. (Paediatrics)/ Diploma Paediatrics, Diploma in Child Health/Diploma Paediatrics, Diploma in Child Health. Age Limit: maximum 45 years.
  • Specialist Grade III (Psychiatrics): Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.D. (Psychiatry)/ M.D. (Psychological one year course) Medicine/M.D. in Medicine with Diploma in Psychological Medicine/Diploma in Psychiatry (Edin)of two years course/Diploma in Psychiatry (Mc. Gill) University/ Montreal, Canada of two years course/Diploma in Psychological Medicine.

Pay scale: The candidates need to be in the pay scale of Rs 15,600 to 39,100 with additional grade pay of Rs 6,600 per month. For details on the pay scale, please check the notification.

Other Details

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
