UPSC Geo Scientist Prelims admit card 2020 released on upsc.gov.in

UPSC Geologist Admit Card 2019: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card for Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination 2020. Candidates can download UPSC Geo-Scientist Admit Card 2019 from UPSC website i.e. www.upsconline.nic.in.

Candidates can download UPSC Geo Scientist Prelims Admit Card by selecting Registration Number or Roll Number and Date of Birth through the prescribed link. No paper Admit Card will be issued for UPSC Geo Scientist Exam. It is mandatory for the candidate to take print out of ‘IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE’ before downloading the UPSC Geo Scientist e-Admit Card and bring the same along with this e-Admit Card to be permitted to enter the examination hall.

UPSC Admit Card 2020: How to download
Step 1: Visit the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on UPSC Geo-Scientist Prelims Admit Card 2020 link available on the home page.
Step 3: A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the necessary details and click on submit.
Step 4: Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Check the admit card and download it.
Step 6: Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

UPSC Geo Scientist Exam is scheduled to be held on 19 January 2020 (Sunday) and  will be conducted in two shifts for candidates. The first shift will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second shift will be from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The questions asked in the examination will be objective type questions. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will be counted for deciding the final merit list.

Candidates who will qualify the preliminary written exam will have to appear for the main exam. The main examination will be conducted on June 27 and 28, 2020. UPSC Geo-Scientist 2020 examination will fill up 102 posts of Geologists, Geophysicists, Chemists, and Junior Hydro-geologists in the organisation.
