UPSC Engineering Services prelims result 2020 declared, check merit list

UPSC Engineering Service Result 2020: Union Public Service Commission has announced the result of Engineering Services Preliminary Examination 2020. All candidates who have appeared in the UPSC Engineering Service exam can download their UPSC ESE Result from UPSC official website www.upsc.gov.in.The candidates who have qualified in the prelims examination will now appear in the Mains that will be conducted on June 28, 2020.

“The candidates may download their e-admit cards from the commission’s website around 3 weeks before the commencement of the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2020. Candidates are also informed that marks and cut-off marks of Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination , 2020 will be uploaded on the commission’s website i.e., upsc.gov.in after the entire process of Engineering Services Examination, 2020 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result of Engineering Services Examination, 2020. No request for change of centre/ discipline for Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2020 will be entertained under any circumstances,” read the official notification.

How to Download UPSC Engineering Service Result ?

  1. Visit the official website  of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in
  2. Click on ‘Written Result: Engineering Service (Preliminary)  Examination 2020’, given on the home page
  3. Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020
  4. A PDF file will be open on your screen
  5. Check the roll number of selected candidate
  6. You can also download the PDF file and take a print out for future use

The recruitment is being done for filling up 495 vacancies of Engineers in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.Those who clear the main exam will then be called for the interview round. The recruitment exam is being conducted to fill approximately 500 engineering positions in various departments of the central government.
