SSC CGL 2019 Exam analysis June 4th,Shift 1:Quantitative was tricky and calculative
SSC CGL Tier 1 exam has begun today.Shift 1 of the SSC CGL exam has been concluded successfully.As per the response of the students appeared in shift 1,the paper was ‘moerate to difficult’.The major change has been seen in the exam duration.The SSC CGL exam duration has been cut down to 60 minutes,earlier it was 75 minutes.Based on the students response , we have compiled the complete SSC CGL exam analysis for shift 1 of 4th June 2019.
The examination consisted of 100 questions bearing 2 marks and a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every incorrect answer. The section was arranged in the ascending order beginning with reasoning and ending with English. The sections were sequenced in the order of Reasoning, GK, Maths (Quantitative Aptitude) followed by English.
Maths section was a bit calculative and had a few questions from advanced mathematics, while the majority of them were from arithmetic. The English Language section can be a tough call for aspirants who are weak in this subject. But In today’s SSC CGL 2018 1st Shift Exam, English language section was easy. No tough Vocabulary bothered the candidates. And the section was easy on overall analysis.
Quantitative Aptitude Section gave a tough time to the candidates with its 5-6 time consuming questions. General Awareness covers a vast range of topics that can be asked in the exam. It usually comes up with surprises in SSC CGL tier1. Current affairs have been a favorite topic since previous years and in today’s exam too, there was a fair share of CA questions. Questions were of direct approach from History, General Science and other parts.
Every correct answer will fetch 2 marks and 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
