The deadline to make corrections in the online application form is up to 5 pm on May 31, 2019. The NTA has provided a one-time correction facility in the wake of receiving application forms having incorrect data.
According to the press release by NTA, candidates can make corrections in select fields only, including their father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, and category. Those students who wish to edit gender or category will have to pay the additional fee as prescribed in the admission brochure.
NTA had conducted the NEET examination at UG level on May 5, 2019, in pen and paper mode across 154 test cities of the country. However, it had to reschedule the medical entrance examination in Odisha to May 20, 2019, due to restoration work aftermath of the Fani cyclone.
Next, the governing body is set to declare the result for the said examination on June 5, 2019. Candidates with a higher rank in the merit list will stand a better chance of getting admission to MBBS or BDS courses in top government or unaided medical colleges.
