Maharatra various ITI admission has been announced
Mumbai: Admission process of various courses has started on the background of Corona. ITI admission date has also been announced. Students seeking admission in ITI will be able to fill the admission form from 1st August. Will be available online at https://admission.dvet.gov.in. Minister for Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Nawab Malik informed about this.
Meanwhile, Minister of State Shambhuraj Desai appealed to the students who have passed 10th and failed to apply for ITI within the given time. He said that every youth should be given skill training and then employment.
There are 417 government ITIs in 358 talukas with an annual admission capacity of 92,556. In tribal areas, there are 61 institutions for tribals, 4 higher institutions for Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhists, 2 separate institutions for minorities and 43 government ITIs, 15 units for women and 28 tribal (ashram schools).
There are 569 private ITIs operating in the state with an annual admission capacity of 53,272. There are 986 public and private ITIs with a total admission capacity of 1 lakh 45 thousand 828 students.
The minimum educational qualification for admission is 10th pass and unsuccessful. Candidates above 14 years of age with minimum educational qualification or higher can be admitted for ITI course. No high age limit has been set for admission.
Equivalent to tenth
Candidates who have failed Class X will be given the equivalent of Class X if they pass the examination in 2 language subjects prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education after completing the training in a 2 year business course from ITI.
This year, students will be able to do all the work online from filling up the admission form to registering objections. The decision was made so that there would be no crowds for admission in the Corona background, so that students would not have to travel.
