Karnataka KARTET 2020 Revised Dates Announced

KARTET 2020: The Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) has been postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic. The test was scheduled to be held on March 15. As per the latest circular by the Centralised Admission Cell, Karnataka, the exam will now be held on April 11. Revised admit cards will be released around 10 days before.

It is mandatory for teaching aspirants to qualify KARTET, in order to become teachers of class 1 to 8 in schools run by the government of Karnataka.

KARTET will consist of two papers — paper I will be for those who wish to teach in classes 1 to 5, those aiming to teach classes 6 to 8 will have to clear paper II. KARTET consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking in the exam.
