CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2019 for Assam and Meghalaya released on csirnet.nta.nic.in, exam on Dec 27

NTA CSIR-UGC NET 2020 admit card: The National Testing Agency will be conducting the CSIR UGC NET for Assam and Meghalaya candidates on December 27, 2019. The exam was initially scheduled to be conducted on December 15, however, due to the ongoing protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act in the Northeast region, the exam was deferred in the region.

In Assam, the CSIR UGC NET will be conducted in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Silchar, and Tezpur. In Meghalaya, the exam will be held in Shillong. The NTA will, however, release a fresh admit card on December 23 for the candidates which will be available at the official website — csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Candidates are also being informed through SMS/Email on their registered Mobile No. and Email ID.

The examination was conducted on other states on December 15, 2019. A total of 274345 candidates appeared for CSIR NET 2019 examination that was conducted in 605 centers in 214 cities. The examination was conducted in two shifts and the duration of the examination was 180 minutes.

The Agency will declare the CSIR NET Result 2019 on December 31, 2019, as per official update. Candidates who have appeared for the exam or will appear for the exam can check their result on the official site. Before that, the answer key would be released by the Agency soon after the examination in Assam and Meghalaya is over. For more related details, candidates can visit the official site of CSIR NET.

CSIR UGC NET is conducted in the online mode only and has two papers. The first paper is of 100 marks and consists of 50 MCQs and the second one is of 200 marks and has 100 MCQs. For every wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted in A and B part while in part C, one mark will be deducted.
