CMAT 2020 Applications Begins

CMAT 2020: CMAT 2020 registration begins. CMAT entrance exam is one of the most popular screening tests for MBA/PGDM aspirants and is accepted by all major AICTE approved MBA colleges.


  • Registrations start from November 1, 2019

The CMAT or Common Management Admission Test is an online entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA/PGDM courses in over 1000 B-schools across India. CMAT is conducted in online mode in various cities across India. The duration of the exam is three hours within which the candidates are required to answer 100 questions from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

Important Dates:

CMAT 2020 exam postponed from January 24 to 28.

CMAT 2020 registrations will begin on the official website of NTA-CMAT from November 1, 2019 onwards till 30.11.2019 (up to 11:50 p.m.)

Exam Duration: 3 hours

  • Logical Reasoning
  • Language Comprehension & Verbal Ability
  • General Awareness

Exam Pattern: 100 questions in MCQ format

CMAT Selection Criteria

Most of the management institutes conduct group discussion and personal interview to select candidates for MBA/PGDM programmes post the declaration of CMAT exam results. Each institute conducts the admission independently and according to their academic cycle.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria:

The CMAT 2020 aspirant must have completed Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university.

Final year Graduation students (10+2+3) are also eligible to apply for CMAT, provided their results are declared before commencement of admission for 2020

Steps to Apply Online:

Go to official website:https://cmat.nta.nic.in/webinfo/public/home.aspx

Step-1: Fill in the online Application Form and Note down the system generated Application Number

Step-2: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Passport size Photograph (between 10 kb– 200 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (between 4kb – 30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.

Step-3: Make payment of fee using Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, and PAYTM and keep proof of fee paid.

Step-4: Print at least four printout of Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee

Step-5: Choose the city for giving the examination CMAT-2020
