CBSE extends CTET 2020 registration date! Apply before this date @ ctet.nic.in

CTET 2020 Registration date has been extended by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2 March 2020. Interested candidates can fill the CTET online application form by paying the CTET exam fee till 5th March on the official website ctet.nic.in. Earlier, the last date of Application Process for CTET July 2020 exam was 24th February 2020. However, this date has now been extended by the CBSE.

Interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied can do so at the official website, ctet.ac.in. Both paper I and paper II for CTET 2020 will be held on July 5, 2020.  The paper I will be held from 9.30 am to noon and paper II from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Those who clear paper 1 will be eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5 and those who clear paper 2 will be eligible to teach in classes 6 to 7.

How to fill CTET Online Form 2020?
1: Visit the official website ctet.nic.in
2: Click on “Application Form for CTET 2020”
3: Register by clicking on “New Registration”
4: Fill the Application Form using Registration Number
5: Submit & Save the CTET Confirmation Page

CBSE CTET 2020: Fee
Applicants will have to pay a fee of Rs 1200 for both exams and Rs 1000 for a single exam. For reserved category candidates, the fee is Rs 500 for single and Rs 500 for both tests.

Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 per cent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEIEd) OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR

“Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and Bachelor of Education (BEd)”

“(a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher”.
